Aronia melanocarpa 'Autumn Magic'
Aronia melanocarpa 'Autumn Magic' is a great plant for year round interest in the small garden. In spring, it's covered with attractive clusters of small white blooms, set off perfectly by deep-green waxy foliage. These are followed in summer by black fruits, which last well into winter. The foliage turns a smoky-red, before falling in autumn.
Although it's a slow-growing plant, Aronia melanocarpa 'Autumn Magic' suckers profusely to form a spreading shrub. It will grow happily in a range of soils in full sun or partial shade.
