Pearly everlasting, Anaphalis margaritacea, is a charming perennial native to North America and Asia. It's valued for its beautiful silvery foliage topped by clusters of white and yellow-centred flowers, which are extremely popular with pollinating insects.
Better still, these flowers are great for cutting, and work well when fresh or dried. Anaphalis margaritacea makes a lovely addition to a gravel garden or prairie garden.
For best results, grow Anaphalis margaritacea in full sun in moist, well-drained soil.
