Amaranthus hypochondriacus 'Green Thumb' is a hardy annual with an upright growth habit. It has dark, bronze-green foliage with oval leaves, from which unusual apple-green flower spikes appear in summer. It's makes a good bedding plant and is suitable for growing in borders or containers. It makes an excellent cut flower in both fresh and dried arrangements.
