Allium 'Pink Jewel is the first of the large-flowered alliums to have been bred with a true pink flower. This pretty cultivar bears massed heads of soft pink florets with green centres, on strong stems. It's a fantastic choice for growing in pots or towards the front of sunny borders, and makes an impressive cut flower.
For best results, plant bulbs in fertile, well-drained soil up to three times their diameter. Grow in Allium 'Pink Jewel' in well-drained soil in full sun. It's not fully hardy and in colder regions should be mulched. Alternatively, plant it in pots and move to a frost free area in autumn.
