Allium 'Forelock' produces tight flower heads in early summer. The long, linear leaves die back before the blooms appear in early summer. It's not fully hardy and in colder regions should be mulched or planted in pots, then moved to a frost free area in winter. Allium 'Forelock' has unusual blooms, with upright flowers at the top of the ball.
