Allium decipiens is native to Central Asia and China. It bears pretty clusters of lilac-pink, star-shaped flowers on tall stems. It's a fantastic choice for growing in sunny borders and patio container displays.

For best results, plant bulbs in fertile, well-drained soil up to three times their diameter. Grow Allium decipiens in well-drained soil in full sun. It's not fully hardy and in colder regions should be mulched or planted in pots and moved to a frost free area in autumn.
