Allium cowanii is an early flowering allium, bearing pretty, shaggy white flower heads in loose clusters. The flowers last well and are perfect for cutting. It's well suited to growing in drifts at the front of an informal boxer, but also works well when grown in pots.
For best results, grow Allium cowanii in well-drained soil in full sun. Plant bulbs in fertile, well-drained soil up to three times their diameter.
