Agapanthus 'Midnight Star'

Agapanthus are South African plants with strap-like leaves and showy flowers in shades of blue, violet or white. They are ideal for growing in containers, from which their pretty blooms stand tall, spilling over other pots, creating a pleasing display.

Agapanthus 'Midnight Star' is a superb variety, bearing dark blue flower buds that open to large heads of rich blue blooms on tall stems. For best results grow in a sheltered, sunny spot, in moist but well-drained soil. In exposed areas agapanthus benefit from winter protection – or simply grow them in pots and move indoors in autumn.
