Agapanthus are South African plants with strap-like leaves and showy flowers in shades of blue, violet or white. They're ideal for growing in containers, from which their pretty blooms stand tall, spilling over other pots.
Agapanthus ‘Glacier Stream’ is a white-flowered agapanthus, bearing masses of white flowers with a slight purple tint and subtle purple stripe. It's one of the earliest agapanthus to flower, blooming from July on fresh green, gently arching stems. It's also one of the hardiest varieties, so there's no need to offer winter protection.
For best results, grow Agapanthus ‘Glacier Stream’ in a sheltered, sunny spot, in moist but well-drained soil.
