Acer palmatum 'Shishi-gashira' is a bushy Japanese maple with an upright habit. Its bright green, closely packed leaves turn a wonderful shade of orange in autumn.

Like other Japanese maples, Acer palmatum 'Shishi-gashira' thrives in partial shade. For best results grow in moist but well-drained soil and shelter from cold winds. It's well suited to growing in a large container, as long as it's kept well watered.
