Nic Wilson is a freelance writer and editor, specialising in natural history and wildlife gardening. She is a regular Guardian Country Diarist and her work features in anthologies and magazines, including the The Garden (RHS), The English Garden, Going to Ground (2024), Moving Mountains (2023) and Women on Nature (2021). Her qualifications include a Diploma in Garden Design, an MA in English Literature and a Diploma in Creative Non-Fiction. Nic's debut non-fiction book, Land Beneath the Waves: Nature, Place and Chronic Illness, is due out next June.
