Joe Bagley

Joe Bagley has been growing houseplants since his grandmother first gave him a spider plant cutting when he was just 13. Since then, he has amassed more than 1,000 houseplants in his small home in north Leicestershire - ranging from cacti to tropicals, and even his own cultivar of streptocarpus. He started out as house plant manager at a garden centre. His first book – How to Make Your Houseplants Love You (Hachette), is a comprehensive house plant care guide. He contributed to weekly gardening shows on BBC Radio Leicester and has presented at BBC Gardeners' World Live.
