The 50 acres of tranquil gardens feature many rare trees and plants from around the world. There is plenty to enjoy in every season, including rhododendrons, an exotic jungle garden, fernery, dew pond, ice house and woodland walks. The wide range of ferns include National Collections of hardy woodwardia and ostrich ferns, while in the 18th-century walled garden you’ll find an elegant fountain, fragrant roses and many other beautiful and unusual plants.
