Now partly restored, these gardens are full of atmosphere and beauty. They include a bog garden, Victorian fernery and woodland gardens with magnolias, rhododendrons, wildflowers, hydrangeas and autumn foliage. The four 18th-century walled gardens are flourishing with vegetables, fruit and flowers, and the glasshouses are filled with tomatoes and tender plants. The woodland walk leads to a beach and gazebo with Atlantic views.
