These informal gardens are full of charm and tranquillity, with colourful borders, lawns, a lime-tree avenue and medieval fish ponds. In the walled kitchen gardens is a series of allotments growing vegetables, fruit and flowers, including fragrant sweet peas and vibrant dahlias.
