In the four-acre walled gardens you’ll find a bounty of flowers, including daffodils, irises, peonies, lavender and heritage roses, as well as topiary and ancient yews. There are formal Italianate terraces with ponds, fountains and waterlilies, and a 130m-long border of herbaceous perennials, billowing with colour. Follow the Ladies Walk to see spring-flowering cherries, hazelnuts, apples and mulberry trees.
