Once owned by the 18th-century naturalist Gilbert White, this garden has been restored to include elements he described in his writings. Flower gardens, a vegetable plot, herb garden and orchards have been reinstated using plants of his time. Interesting historic features include a fruit wall, sundial and an oak tree planted in 1730. Wildflowers thrive in the meadow and three species of newt live in the pond.
