Explore 40 acres of formal Victorian-style gardens and informal woodland. On the parterres and terraces, the herbaceous borders, roses, bulbs and wall-trained shrubs provide colour and scent from spring to late summer. Original Victorian features include a rock garden, heather house and newly restored glasshouse. In the woodland, bluebells, azaleas and rhododendrons provide seasonal highlights among the many impressive mature trees.
