Cultivated for more than 200 years, this romantic garden is renowned for its roses. They bloom in fragrant profusion in the oval walled garden and include a National Collection of pre-1900 gallica roses, as well as hundreds of other beautiful varieties. The roses are complemented by billowing herbaceous borders in delicate hues, spectacular delphinium beds, an orchard and herb garden.
