Established nearly 400 years ago, the formal terraced gardens welcome you with beautiful borders, idyllic views, an ancient ‘elephant’ yew hedge and new stumpery. The rose garden’s circular design is based on the site’s original motte and bailey castle. There is also a wooded ravine full of wildlife to explore.
