Step back in time into the Elizabethan garden, among plants that were grown in 1580. In the pond garden, geometric hedges and topiary surround a circular waterlily pool. There is a striking silver border, and a kitchen garden with vegetables, cut flowers and fruit trees. These 20 acres of Grade I listed gardens are full of history and charm.
