The gardens, park and woodland cover over 70 acres, with an impressive collection of more than 5,000 trees and shrubs, including many rarities. The kitchen garden features many traditional and rare vegetable varieties, fragrant roses and ancient apple trees, while its double herbaceous border is full of colour from July to October.
