First established in the late 18th century, this tranquil wooded garden has a pretty walled garden at its heart. Within its Victorian climber-clad walls is an elegant arched pergola, roses, white border, sculptures and lawns. In the mature woodland, many rare and exotic azaleas and rhododendrons bloom through spring and early summer, along with more recent additions such as unusual foxgloves and spring bulbs.
