Full of vitality and variety, these gardens were created over the past 250 years. Renowned for the glorious double herbaceous border, thought to be the first of its kind in England, the formal gardens also feature a kitchen garden, rose garden and avenue of cylindrical holm oaks. There is an arboretum and woodland walk too.
