Competitions Win a WaterWand

Win a solar-powered rainwater pump

Win a WaterWand - a solar-powered irrigation system that waters your plants according to the intensity of the sun.

The WaterWand enables you to irrigate your plants with rainwater, which is better for most plants as it has a high concentration of vitamins and minerals. You can also add a soluble fertiliser to your waterbutt, which will take care of your plants' nutritional requirements.

The WaterWand requires no plumbing, wiring or electricity supply. It fits onto most standard water butts and automatically irrigates containers, pots, grow bags and beds. Once in place, the WaterWand uses solar power to charge internal batteries, which then power the pump, delivering rainwater to plants every three hours.

The pump responds to the power of the sun, so that it delivers more water to your plants when they need it most. It can also be manually adjusted to alter the frequency and volume of watering.

The WaterWand costs £149. For more information visit water-wand.com.

We have three WaterWand irrigation packs to win, each containing a solar-powered pump and 10 drippers.

Prize details:

  • Three winners will recieve a WaterWand and 10 drippers.
  • The WaterWand is solar-powered and does not require plumbing, wiring or an electricity supply.
  • You can attach the WaterWand easily to most, standard water butts, all it requires is a circular hole, approximately 40mm diameter in the lid.
  • The closing date for the competition is 15 September 2008, winners will be notified after this date.

To enter just answer the question below
