Composting your garden and kitchen waste has many benefits. Not only do you reduce waste sent to landfill and create a habitat for passing wildlife such as hedgehogs, but the resulting compost is far better for the health of your soil and plants than anything you can buy in the shops.
The twin compost bin from Recycle Works enables you to add waste to one heap while the other breaks down.
The 1240 litre capacity twin bin is quick to assemble and doesn't require nails or screws. It has sliding panels for easy access and you can double or treble its size by adding further modules.
The bin is designed to aid decomposition; the wooden panels insulate the compost heap, encouraging it to rot down more quickly. The panels are also porous, allowing air to circulate around the waste, ensuring it won't generate any unpleasant smells.
The twin compost bin is made from FSC certified wood from Northern European Forests and is treated with a wildlife-friendly non-toxic preservative.
