Search and save

Choose the perfect plant to suit your garden. As well as plant inspiration we'll also give you advice on which plants to choose and how to care for them. Then sign up to the Scrapbook, where you can create your own plant list, by saving your favourite plants to your personalised area.

Getting the most from the plant search

At the top of every page on the Gardeners' World site you'll find a search box. Simply type the name of the plant you're looking for into the box and click go.

You can search in a number of ways, either by the common name of the plant ie Rose or by the latin name ie Rosa or even the full name of the plant, if you know it, ie Rosa alpina 'Alpine Sunset'.

You'll be presented with a list of plants that match your search. Scan the list to find the plant that you're looking for, and once you've found it, click on the plant name to be taken through to the plant detail page where you'll be give an overview of your chosen plant, as well as tips and advice on how to care for it.

Save plants to your Scrapbook
