Rhododendron 'Scintillation' is a hardy rhododendron growing to an eventual height of over 2m. Evergreen, it bears funnel-shaped, pink blooms with a large apricot blotch on the throat. It’s extremely hardy, and therefore perfect for growing in more northerly regions.

Grow Rhododendron 'Scintillation' in partial shade. Plant in humus-rich, moist but well-drained neutral to acidic soil. Rhododendrons are shallow-rooted so take care not to plant too deeply. Mulch annually with a generous layer of leaf mould. There should be little or no need to prune.
