Dianthus have long been a firm favourite, and an immediately recognisable choice for generations of gardeners. They are drought tolerant and unfussy on soil conditions, happily flourishing in sun or part shade.
Delivering extraordinary impact from very little effort indeed, these hardy little succulents change colour with the seasons in the most astonishing way.
Growing so tall they look like trees, in their first year they will reach up to 1.5m high, but once fully established in future years, will get even taller! These big flowered beauties arise as a consequence pf hybridisation between Oriental and Trumpet strains of lily, leading to a marriage of characteristics from both species.
